Storytelling has been part of who I am for as long as I can remember. Long before I became a published author, I was fascinated by mysteries, compelling characters and the question of what drives ordinary people to do extraordinary things.

Today, I'm the author of the Rowan McFarlane Detective Series and the DI Ravenscroft & Professor Laing Thrillers, both published by Vinci Books. I write crime fiction featuring strong female protagonists, intricate mysteries and unexpected twists, exploring the complexities of human nature while keeping readers guessing until the very last page.

My work has been recognised with a nomination in the Best Author category at the Crime Fiction Lovers Awards. I was also a Top 100 finalist in the Black Spring Press Opening Gambit Competition on two occasions, judged by Lee Childand Val McDermid respectively.

When I'm not writing, you'll often find me exploring Scotland in my camper, renovating my 160-year-old home, or enjoying a good cup of tea while plotting my next novel. I love meeting readers at festivals, libraries and author events, and I'm incredibly grateful that what began as a lifelong passion has become the career I once only dreamed about.
